Deserts
Although the classic image of a desert is an extremely hot, dry environment with few plants surviving under a beating sun, not all deserts are like that. Some are sandy, some are rocky, and some are actually really cold. Students will be pulled in by the dramatic design of this book and will keep reading because of the interesting facts about the plants and animals that survive in the Earth's driest ecosystem.

Series Review: Geography Wise
"This series is excellent for many grade levels from 4th grade to secondary learning support. I will use these at my high school with my special needs students and they will enable them to participate in research projects and reports. Nicely done."
