Coping With Hereditary Diseases

Scientific technology has made it possible to detect hereditary diseases, often through genetic testing. But while knowledge is power, it also poses some very difficult questions. Teens are encouraged to compile a family medical tree and then given information about various diseases that can run in families. This book also provides advice about how to go about this process and answers some very tough questions about why it is important to have this information.
